Chris was tasked with protecting Ritter’s birth in perilous conditions. Mona took her maternity leave at home with Ritter, while Chris took his paternity leave after hers. He never expressed apprehension or avoided parenting. He was fearless from the start. He enjoyed spending time with Ritter and was hands-on.

Chris immediately liked the Thunder after they moved to Oklahoma City. Season tickets from his aunt Julie were borrowed when available. His parents, Scott and Lori Lange, brother Cody Wright and his wife Shaina, and grandmother, Rhonda Moler, may continue his legacy.
